Betty is one of the quietest members on the team - truly! She's so quiet that she hardly ever barks. Betty also has a bit of a wild side that only shows up in her haircut - her mom likes to think her haircut is a hybrid of Tina Turner and Rod Stewart! 

Betty was preselected as a wellness dog with a local breeder outside of Edmonton and she has helped many clients over the past four years heal while on their journey. Betty is a soft-natured empath who will be anyone's friend. Clients often use Betty to help self-regulate, self-soothe (she has THE softest tummy for this) and as a distraction. 

We know sometimes it's hard for clients to use eye contact when they feel heavy feelings and Betty is a great addition to anyone's sessions. We also know that Betty is not for everyone. She is kept in an office to allow the office to feel safe. Each new client is asked if they would like Betty to be present during their sessions - Betty isn't offended if you're not a dog person. Betty just wants you to know that she is available if you would like an extra therapy buddy!
